Last Friday morning the entire elementary school honored custodian Judy Smith for her hard work and great attitude! Thanks to 5th grader Jaxon Long for coming up with the idea. His letter to Headmaster Jennifer Beamer is here:

“Dear Mrs. Beamer, I think the custodian, Ms. Judy, does many a task daily, that are unnoticed by the students. That’s why I have come up with the “Judy Plan”. To show our gratitude and appreciation I think we should make a large card for all of elementary to sign. I also think it would be kind for faculty to sign (including resource teachers). If you agree, please set a date after everyone has signed the card and skype my teacher in 5D to send me to the office and you and I will present it to her from all elementary. Please e-mail me back and I hope my requests are met.
