Charter Day School Gets Spooky with Trunk or Treat Halloween Celebration

Charter Day School celebrated Halloween with a Trunk or Treat festival. The festival included 50 cars bedecked with thrilling decorations by parent volunteers and over 600 students in costumes.  Car themes included NASCAR, sharks, superheroes, pirates, Super Mario, Day of the Dead, and various spooky combinations.

Laurie Benton, Headmaster of Charter Day School, commented, “We are so thankful to our great parents who made our Trunk or Treat a great success. Every year they show amazing school spirit and truly make this event a blast for our students!”

Charter Day School is one of four charter schools managed by The Roger Bacon Academy, Inc. founded in 1999 by education pioneer Baker Mitchell. The other schools include Douglass Academy in Wilmington, Columbus Charter School in Whiteville, and South Brunswick Charter School in Southport with a combined enrollment of over 2,100 students in K-8. All four are tuition-free, charter schools that welcome all students, regardless of income, ability, or address. To learn more or enroll online, please visit EnrollRBA.com
