Charter Day School celebrated Thanksgiving on Tuesday, November 26, with a splendid Thanksgiving feast. The feast was catered by local restaurants such as Port City Que, Roberta’s, Smithfield’s, KFC, Bojangles, and Piggly Wiggly. Parents provided desserts and dishes to share. Afterwards, students did Thanksgiving activities and crafts for the rest of the day.
Laurie Benton, Headmaster of Charter Day School, commented, “We have so much to be thankful for at Charter Day School this Thanksgiving! It is heartwarming to see our amazing students and parents gather together to celebrate our Charter Day School family!”
